Category 6: The Multicultural Involvement Award

  1. Actively involved in promoting cultural diversity and multiculturalism
  2. Involvement in the multicultural community
  3. Demonstrated ability to involve youth in cultural awareness
  4. Possesses leadership qualities.

Category 7: The Achievement in the Arts Award                                              

WHAT ARE THE JUDGES LOOKING FOR?

  1. Outstanding performance in the arts (i.e. dance, drama, painting, drawing, sculpting etc.)
  2. Involvement in the community
  3. Demonstrated creative application of art
  4. Participates in a number of artistic practices

****If the Musical Achievement Award is won by a band or group, only one trophy and one prize will be awarded to the band or group as a whole. Individuals will not be awarded individual trophies and prizes.

  1. Achieved a well-rounded balance of achievements in a variety of categories
  2. Involvement in the community
  3. Participates in activities with the perception of youth in mind, thereby presenting a positive image of youth the community
  4. Possesses leadership qualities (i.e. academic, sporting, or community work)
  5. Involvement in extracurricular activities

Category 5: The Community Involvement Award

  1. Extraordinary involvement in the community. (Participated in various community events and fundraisers in the community.)
  2. Excelled in volunteering their time to help the community.

Category 3: The Voice of Youth Award

  1. Outstanding performance in the area of public speaking and/or debating
  2. Involvement in the community
